Street Food Chef
Will Meyrick’s stellar career path has led him from London to Sydney and extensively through South East Asia, where he fell in love with the exotic spices, flavours and textures that make the cuisine and its culture so unique.
After successful periods with two of Sydney’s leading restaurants, Longrain and Jimmy Liks, Will followed the call to experience more of what Asia’s burgeoning fine dining scene had to offer a young chef filled with passion and potential. Wooed by the opportunities that were opening up for him, Will invested some time exploring the professional landscape of the international foodie destinations of Bali, Thailand and Hong Kong.
The small but beguiling island of Bali in Indonesia claimed Will’s heart and he chose to settle there, where he now heads up the flagship fine-dining restaurant Sarong, and more recently his newest culinary sweet spot, Mama San. Keep up to date with his adventures on the Street Food Chef blog.
